Limitation of Connection Extension for 3ds Max 2010Tried to import large sketchup model into 3ds Max via new connection extension. Application Error occured everytime when number of vertices and faces getting close to:
V: 2,551.129 F: 2,619.430
V: 2,507.617 F: 2,575.644
V: 2,450.021 F: 2,517.656
V: 2,536.789 F: 2,605.100
....
But smaller models worked perfectly in 3ds Max. This could be one of the most remarkable steps Autodesk has ever taken since they started eating other companies. So, keep your model size down or import model parts separately! Go 3D! |
